Enjoyed catching up with political consultant Andrew Heaton from Sagamore Hill Consulting. We bantered on Georgia's redrawn maps, the upcoming legislative session and did some 2024 predicting. Good times. Second half of the show, I ceded some time to "Politics Girl" to review her mid-December "impeachment" retort, and then I somehow wound up railing on the GOP's preening about immigration at the southern border while doing absolutely nothing about it where they're needed - in Washington, where another government shutdown looms. So of course I counter with the liberal pinko commie Ronald Reagan of 1989 just to remind us all how far off into crazy xeno-land the GOP has wandered.
