Here are some of the takeaways from the podcast:Voice is that something special that your story needs, without it, your piece doesn't have any life.It's easy to lose the dimension of voice and trying to separate yourself as a writer and the character is a hard thing to do. Don't feel discouraged. To find our character's voice we need to strip it back and look at who they are and what they would do in a situation, not what we would do.
