We're All Building Monuments

The issue of pride is something that pops up in all of our lives.  Being preoccupied with ourselves is natural.  We easily get caught up in our plans, needs and hopes and we can allow it to supersede anything else in our lives.  Often times, if we aren't careful, pride in ourselves will take our focus off of what really matters: bringing glory to God through our lives.In the next message of our Whole Heart series Griffin teaches from 1 Samuel 15 where Saul builds a monument to himself.  He is seeking attention and recognition and missing the fact that he is disobeying God.  His focus is in the wrong place.  Listen and hear the way to live humbly and avoid the downfalls of pride in our lives.
