Alcoholic Ketoacidosis 2. Starvation Ketoacidosis 3. Diabetic Ketoacidosis 5 Abnormal Things about Diabetic Ketoacidosis 1. Hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) 2. Acidosis Normally, the blood is between 7.35 -7.45 (slightly alkaline) Mild: 7.25 – 7.30 Moderate: 7.00 – 7.25 Severe: less than 7.00 3. Low Blood Volume 4. Potassium Loss 5.
