Virgin olive oil means unrefined and no chemicals involved compressing the oil out and is very natural and pure. Refined olive oil is where they are using a chemical process, high heats which ends up to a very refined product with very less essential fatty acids, fewer phytonutrients and has no odor. And the extra virgin olive oil is the initial oil that comes out when they do the filtration process.  For the coconut oil, virgin means unrefined where they are not using high heat, bleach, and chemicals. And extra virgin coconut oil is just a marketing term.
