from Forking Wellness

Studying nutrition? Just graduated? Or thinking of a career change? This episode is for you! This week we sit down and talk to recent graduate and Registered Associate Nutritionist Hannah Cartwright (@livewellwithhan) to discuss the struggles of being a student, the excitement of being a student and how to navigate your way into the industry. Some questions answered include:Do you need a mentor if you want to work with clients? What’s the difference between a dietitian, nutritionist and nutritional therapist? Do you have any daily tips to keep your mental health in check whilst at uni? What did you enjoy the most about your course and what did you find most challenging?Do you think it’s useful to have an Instagram account if you want to go into the nutrition industry? How did you find having a relationship while you were studying for your nutrition masters? I am really struggling to find balance with studying, work, friends and socialising, family and relaxing. Should I do an intern and work experience while studying? If so how and what? Also, we want to thank our sponsor of this episode, Olivado, an incredible company producing Extra Virgin Avocado Oil! They mainly source their avocados from women-run farms, operate a fairtrade business, and aim to be carbon neutral by 2020 - yessss! Avocado oil is also a fab source of those healthy fats and we love to use their avocado oil in anything from salad dressings, to roasting, to sauteeing on high heat! Olivado is available at Sainsburys, Waitrose & Morrisons!  Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
