What Will You Do With What You've Been Given?

Now I won't get religious on you BUT there are some things God has placed in you that we need you to get on the outside. Sometimes this can be hard because trauma is unkind. Trauma can have you feeling stuck. Trauma can have you talking to yourself crazy and it can even have you in a space where you're struggling to show up as the person you know you are capable of being.Dr. Raquel Martin defines trauma as anything that overwhelms the body's ability to cope. For me, trauma was my divorce, the loss of my mother, strain in familial relationships, the loss of friendships, losing jobs, dealing with workplace trauma and so many things. I have been through so much but I made up in my mind I would not allow myself to look like what I've been through and the rest was history.As I am healing, I feel stronger for having survived all the things and for persevering. I've reconnected with my strength and I feel more grounded than I ever have in purpose. I want this for you also. Take a listen to this episode and do me a favor...at the end there's an assignment.
