WHEN GOD ISN'T FAIR

from WISDOM TOUCH · host Babalola Olamide

God is just not fair. Have you ever felt like that? I questioned many things I had ever believed about God when I nedeed real hope and answers to my many questions. Sometimes, I tend to find myself telling God: “Hey! Speak up! I know you’re there. But are you really listening to me? 🤣 It is really hard to question God and still feel secure. It was hard for me to question God without feeling guilty. I doubted His faithfulness but I was mad at myself for doubting! Isn't it painful when God feels far away? I was so tired of being weak. I wanted to quit more than I wanted to keep trying. I know how it feels when God is not fair and He doesn't have to, but He is always right! Tendency to want to know about everything that's going on in your life can be detrimental to your faith. Sometimes having all the answers can be uncomfortable and can even hurt you. God had to teach me to leave things alone and quit feeling that I needed to know everything. I finally learned to trust the One who knows all things and accept that some questions may never be answered. The prove that we trust God is when we refuse to worry when things aren't fair. When life doesn't make sense, be willing to say, "God, I can't figure this out, so I'm going to trust you to give me a revelation that will set me free." With that you can be comfortable in spite of not seeing the end. Trusting God often requires not knowing what God is doing because His right actions might be unfair. Our daily obedience to God ought not to rest on His immediate actions in our lives. Faith is needed to push victoriously in Jesus!
