When Heaven Came Down - The Reversal of Babel at Pentecost

But the Lord came down, confused their language, and scattered them across the earth. What seemed like human unity quickly turned into confusion and separation, showing that when people turn away from God, even their greatest efforts cannot hold them together. Thousands of years later, in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost, the disciples of Jesus were gathered together in one place. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit was poured out from heaven. Wind filled the house, and tongues of fire rested on each of them. They began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them, and people from many nations heard the wonders of God in their own tongues.
