When You Feel That Fear, Go For it Anyway with Tammy Cook

from Meet Me In Moncton · host Natalie Davison

Have you or has someone you know tried to buy a home in Greater Moncton in the past 2 years? Have you heard the chatter about how challenging it can be? Chances are good you’ve heard at least one person say that they feel like they will never find a home. Today’s guest wants everyone to know that they can… in fact, she has never had a client NOT get a home (even if it takes a few tries). Tammy Cook is a mom of 3 teens, co-founder of Feast Atlantic and Moncton Poutine Week, and a REALTOR® who specialized in buyers. She is the BEST at helping people shop for their dream home (and helps keep them going when they get buyer fatigue). We talk about Tammy’s work in both businesses, the dark real estate secrets that everyone wants to know and how we build our team to make sure that everyone does what they’re best at (and why that matters). Tammy really did a great job explaining how our client experience is just so much better because of how we work as a team. We dove into her strengths and how important it is for her to work in those areas as much as possible.   Tammy talked about how much it means to her to help someone find their dream home and how she cries every single time they get their keys - her connection to her clients is so special and she credits her experience growing up in her parents’ restaurant with fostering this passion for service in her heart. We took some time to talk about Tammy’s work as the co-founder of Feast Atlantic through which she runs Moncton Poutine Week. I was so excited to learn about The Daily Feast - one of their newest ventures - where you can check out what’s happening in Moncton - in the restaurant industry like TODAY… (check it out). When I asked Tammy which local businesses are making her life better, she shouted out The Dieppe Market, Stirlings Apples and Joe’s Smokehouse Sausages (blueberry flavor). Once you experience this episode, you’re going to want Tammy to be your new best friend. I come with her as a package but it's’ ok - you can sit with us.
