Where Their Worm Dieth Not

from Spiritual Warfare · host Mike Miller

Ecclesiastes 1:18—"in much wisdom is much grief." People begin life in innocence and joy, like children who trust others and find wonder in simple things. But as people grow older and gain knowledge of the world's sin and hypocrisy, they become more and more cynical, critical, and unhappy, focusing only on what is wrong with others and with life. This kind of "wisdom" can fill the heart with pride, bitterness, and misery, especially in a world where knowledge and information constantly increase. Instead of letting evil and negativity consume the mind, believers must seek the wisdom that comes from God, which is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. God intends for people to enjoy the simple blessings of life—family, work, fellowship, and daily provisions. True wisdom allows a person to recognize the evil in the world without becoming bitter, and to live with joy, gratitude, and trust in God.

I believe the lord has called me to build a strong community of men. The mission of this community is to allow men to learn from one another's successes and failures in marriage and parenting. The True Family Men Podcast was born to give men a platform to share their testimonies of how Jesus Christ has brought them out of life greatest challenges and how to begin the healing process. We as men face many problems in life from lust, pornography addiction, drug and alcohol addiction, anger, stress, false sense of manliness, the list is endless, but through a strong community of believers and the redeeming power of christ's blood we can overcome! I enjoy camping, eagle scouting, hiking, and the weekly chic-fila splurges! I personally enjoy reading, weight lifting, and connecting with new men across the world who have a love for Jesus Christ.I believe that God has called us family men to be the spiritual leaders of our homes.
