Principal Role (Before the PD) Set the stage and provide a direction I am asking the coach the share this topic because it is a goal of our school Coaches Role (During the PD) Create a dynamic learning experience that involves everyone in the school Generals Role (During the PD) Pick up the ball and run with it to inspire others Principal Role (After the PD) “I am asking the Coach to meet with each of you as a department/grade level to make sure you are comfortable planning for this new skill. Follow up Communication (After the PD) Email to Teachers with Follow up links / booking form Next Steps - Department/Grade Level meetings - 1:1 Meetings - In-Classroom Pop-ins How do you create a funnel of your own? Work with your principal and share the vision for getting into classrooms by first meeting with all teachers. Have your meeting dates set up with the principal before the PD session Have your follow up email and resources ready to go End the PD session by telling the teachers that they will be seeing you in their classrooms to support on this new skill that is being requested by the principal.
