The Crunchy Take James Kittipol Hi there! My name is James Kittipol, and welcome to the Crunchy Take, an extension of the crunchy medicine experience on Youtube and Twitch! Although the content and material discussed on this podcast can seem sports-dominant, I want to go beyond the norm and discuss ideas and values found in art, music, film and the general culture at large. My goal is to expand and bring on people of various backgrounds, to mine and search for stories from places where they were previously in the dark.Send us a voice message @ anchor.fm/james-kittipol/message An Angel's Apocrypha An Angel's Apocrypha An Angel's Apocrypha was originally born as a side project. Stemming from electronic and acoustic roots, it quickly became prevalent that electronic instruments would be an important feature when developing melodies and song structure. The idea represented in the name of the project, the title of the album and the contents of the lyrics are intertwined; together, they illustrate the artist's perspective of religion, human interaction and the influence of space and time on humanity's existence. Careful analysis of the writings, with the religious texts, prominent English literature and space as a metaphor can provide insight to the listener to look beyond the mingling of sounds and into the head of the artist who has crafted each aspect of his work on top of each other with a large idea in mind. Welcome to the beginning of the new world. The embracing of the natural and the artificial in order to stimulate human emotion. This is now. This is music. Anthony's Asylum Anthony R. W. Lopez I'm a moviemaker and owner of Cross Beyond, the movie production company that crosses beyond the ordinary (www.crossbeyondproductions.com), but I'm also an avid movie lover, gamer, and all around cool (depends on your definition of cool) guy who's interested in nerdy/techie stuff. That's where my podcast Anthony's Asylum comes in. With Anthony's Asylum I'll discuss topics I'm devoted to - everything from talking about movies and video games that I love to the news that intrigues me most in the movie, game, and tech industries. So join me on a ride through Anthony's Asylum - my plan is to deliver a new podcast weekly, and I know the thing about plans is that they're neither foolproof nor consistent, but I will try my hardest to publish the best content that I can, when I can, and weekly sounds about right to me. UCS Podcasts – urbanculturalstudies Benjamin Fraser UCS Podcasts feature conversational interviews with scholars publishing on topics related to Urban Cultural Studies. Clocking in at around 15-20 minutes each, they are inspired by a recent publication in the field–usually an article in a specialist journal. Each interview strives to go beyond the article’s contents to address a general audience interested in urban scholarship.
