And this wasn’t always the case- we need to be well aware of our industry, especially as the economy progresses over time! Btw, there’s a guy commenting on all my YouTube posts asking about dentist and oral surgery salaries, so that’s why I brought this up lol Point is, I like doing surgery and it’s my favorite part of dentistry. It’s organic for me too it’s not like, forced or something. I think everyone should follow their passions and let finances sort themselves out later- within reason- such that you have an appropriate roadmap to plan out your costs vs benefits, before digging a big “debt hole.” Truth be told, this is only my 1st decade in the field of dentistry. I’m barely in the door! Wait for the 2nd decade (2 years after I graduate omfs, so when I’m 33 in 2027) and that’s when the real party starts.
