Why do we love reality TV? A history of gossip and scandal…

Hello history fans!I think we've always been nosey, we love a gossip and reality TV gives us that, but what did they have in the past?This video very briefly talks about ancient gladiators, Tudor eavesdroppers and regency gossip columns that I think show reality TV has its roots in history...What do you think of the theory?
