I’m delighted to be joined by George Sawtell on this episode of the podcast, who has recently been appointed as the new Treasury Director at Survitec, a Global Leader in Safety and Survival Solutions.   George is an experienced Treasurer having held senior positions at Capita plc (outsourcing), UBM plc (B2B events), Inmarsat plc (satellites) and Cable & Wireless plc (telecommunications). He has 25 years’ experience encompassing everything from debt raising and management to derivatives, foreign exchange hedging, forecasting and budgeting and all aspects of material M&A activity.   In addition to being a qualified Treasurer (MCT), he is a Chartered Accountant (Deloitte) and has a Law degree.
