Joe Rogan has become probably the most popular podcaster in the US over the last decade. What makes him so popular is that he is "real". He is reasonable, although rough around the edges. People can resonate with that. One would expect him to be an atheist. He is intelligent, popular, wealthy, influential... All the attributes to be a good atheist, but he isn't.
