Katharine serendipitously met David and his wife Randie on a hike near Black Mountain and they shared a wonderful conversation that led to this podcast. David shares his wisdom as a multi-decade physical therapist who has worked with people from all walks of life. He has learned so much about what makes people tick, what motivates them, and how to help not only his patients, but their families. David Dockswell’s Bio: David Dockswell is 53 years old and has been married for 25 years. His wife Randie is a dental hygienist along with being an avid hiker. They have 3 sons ages 23, 20, and 17. Their youngest, Ethan, is a senior in high school and still lives with them.  Their oldest, Matthew, graduated college and is out living and working on his own.  Their middle son Zach is in the coast guard and lives near Cape Canaveral where he works. David has been a physical therapist since 2000, and has worked in home health PT since 2002.  He bought into his business in 2003 and they have grown it from about 100 patients when he started to close to almost 500 patients now on service at all times. David has a bachelors degrees in psychology from the university of Michigan, and a Masters degree in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He work with almost every diagnosis imaginable for adults, but most of his patients have Medicare and are over the age of 65.  The oldest patient he has ever worked with so far was 107.
