In this season, some of us are feeling like our faith is slipping, and we're not quite sure why. In the Exodus, Israel felt like they had nothing, even though they had everything. As soon as ungratefulness entered their hearts, the very things that they thought would satisfy their hunger, became their poison. When we start yearning back to how things use to be, or how things could be, we miss what God is doing in the present. And this is how many in Israel never made it to the Promised Land.
