Under Craig’s leadership, the Wildlife Trusts have become one of the most important forces for ambitious nature recovery in Britain.The Wildlife Trusts is currently undertaking a massive £30 million landmark appeal to purchase the Rothbury Estate, a vast, heart-shaped upland estate in Northumberland. As President Emeritus of The Wildlife Trusts, Sir David Attenborough is also supporting the campaign. If successfully secured, The Wildlife Trusts will work with local farmers to restore bogs, plant trees, and create a 40-mile nature corridor.Ben Goldsmith is a British financier and rewilding enthusiast.
