Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park offers a landscape full of opportunities to discover something new. It’s bigger than Hyde Park and covers an area of 560 acres or 226.6 hectares – the equivalent of 300 football pitches. You’ll know the world class sporting venues like the Aquatics Centre, Velodrome and London Stadium but what about the sand martin, the common pipistrelle or streaked bombardier beetle? Just some of hundreds of birds, bats and insects that have made the Park their home.In this episode, we focus on the brand new 'Biodiversity Action Plan’ (BAP) from the London Legacy Development Corporation, that oversees the management of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
