THE TIGER OF DAMASCUS - Our intruder that found his way back to the crime scene dressed as an officer was still at large. But it was our turn now to take to the skies, and hopefully not be shot at for sport. We just had to track down Sherlock first and we'd be on our way. But he was busy... doing something.. weird.  Apologies for the technical error at the end of the episode. A stubborn glitch proving difficult to remove from our end. We're checking with Spotify and Goalhanger. Episode description:  Part 3 of 3 This episode contains suicide, gore, swearing, depictions of death, references to rape and human suffering. The Return of Sherlock Holmes Arthur Conan Doyle The Return of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of 13 short stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They were first published in The Strand Magazine between October 1903 and December 1904 with original illustrations by Sidney Paget. All of these stories take place after Sherlock Holmes' apparent death in "The Adventure of the Final Problem".The book was first published in February 1905 by McClure, Phillips & Co. (New York) then on 7 March 1905 by Georges Newnes, Ltd. (London)This was the first Holmes collection since 1893, when Holmes had "died" in The Final Problem. Having published The Hound of the Baskervilles in 1901–1902 (although setting it before Holmes' death) Doyle came under intense pressure to revive his famous character. The first story is set in 1894 and has Holmes returning in London and explaining the period from 1891–94, a period called "The Great Hiatus" by Sherlockian enthusiasts. R. Holmes and Co. by John Kendrick Bangs (1862 - 1922) LibriVox Raffles Holmes is introduced in these stories as the son of the great Sherlock Holmes. He is also revealed to be the grandson of A.J. Raffles, a gentleman thief pursued by Sherlock Holmes many years earlier. This apparently contradictory family background sets the stage for his colorful and amusing adventures.
