Anshul Trivedi, a Ph.D. scholar from JNU and a freelance journalist who hails from Bhopal (M.P.), explains here how academia and media are affected by the current political regime, also gives insights into the democratic and scientific consciousness of Indian citizens concerning nepotism, corona crisis and choosing a national face as an alternative.  He also shares his experience of being a JNU student when the whole controversy happened in 2016 and how media played a huge role in delegitimizing anti-establishment forces pre-2014 (Anna Hazare Movement) and Post-2014( Farmer protest, anti-CAA/NRC protest).  At the end of the episode, he suggested reading the collected writing on Ram Manohar Lohiya, Mahatma Gandhi, and Martin Luther King jr's book 'Gift of Love.'
