With Jesus - Diversity of Discipleship

Is discipleship supposed to make us all the same?In this episode, we explore the tension between unity and uniqueness in the life of a disciple. Scripture calls every believer to the same obedience—repent, believe, follow Jesus—yet the Holy Spirit forms each disciple differently so that the body of Christ is strengthened through diversity.Drawing from the teaching of Jesus, the writings of Paul, and the lived reality of the church, we see that discipleship is not self-expression and not rigid uniformity. It is faithful obedience to Christ that redeems our personalities, callings, gifts, and contexts so that each of us can serve God’s mission in distinct ways.
