She has written extensively on what it is like to be an autistic woman and her personal experiences since learning she was autistic in recent years.Her debut novel, ‘A Room Called Earth’, tells the story of a young autistic woman getting ready for and attending what is sure to be an eventful party. With each encounter during the evening, the vast discrepancies between what she is thinking, and feeling, and what she is able to say is revealed.
