In part one of WMP, we will focus upon the theme: “Black Colleges need Reparations and Africana Studies Departments to overcome decades of arrested development and cultural alienation.” Our scheduled guest includes Dr. Amiri Yasin Al-Hadid, the former director of the Chair of Africana Studies at Tennessee State University, and Jamila Tyrrell, the current President of the Great Debate Honor Society. ---------------------- In part two of WMP, we will discuss Al-Islam's Contributions to African Americans; highlighting specific religious, cultural, and social contributions that the Islamic religion has given to the uplift of a whole people who are descendants of former slaves.
