The Mountain Remedy podcast teams up with the Appalachian College of pharmacy's very own Diversity Task Force to bring better understanding to a minority in the science fields, women. Though in the past, they have been overshadowed by men, women have made tens of thousands of contributions to all science and medical practices. Today, we celebrate women through getting to hear the story of many women in our school that are heavily involved in science and medicine. This includes: Kris Preston, Caterina Hernandez, Charla Thompson, and Kristen Nicar.
