Today, Saturday October 3 - We are told in Philippians 2:12&13 that we are to "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in us, both to will and to work for his good pleasure."  That's interesting! We are to "work out" what God has "worked in."  God will always do His part to fulfill His will in and through our lives, but we must do our part too!  The "working out" part means that we discipline ourselves to do those things that God in His Word has commanded us to do.  The Spiritual discipline that  should be a priority in our daily life is reading and having an intake of God's Word.  And that will require us to make the time and find a place to sit down and do this. And we need to do this faithfully and systematically, reading the entire Bible over a period of time. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training (discipline) in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16) And "all" means "all"!  God bless!
