With a background in nursing and public health, Tara recently completed a PhD in Palliative Care from the University of Western Australia, Perth. She has developed a holistic framework for palliative care in Bhutan that factors in social, cultural and spiritual needs, and she is interested in facilitating and developing palliative care in Bhutan and integrating it into our healthcare system.
