WTH Does the Founder of a Clothing Company Do? With Ellen Sitt of Dearest Joe
from What The Heck Do You Do? · host Careers By Caroll
Ellen Sitt began working on Dearest Joe about 6 months after her son was born in 2019. Being used to always working, she hit a block after deciding not to work when having her son. Inspired by her everyday life with a newborn and the constant clothing ideas that came after every “crying change”, Ellen decided to make some clothing of her own. Dearest Joe is an organic baby clothing company that launched in September 2020. All of the clothing is thoughtfully designed by a parent for a parent. The clothes are meant to be easy basics for parents to get on their child, comfortable for your child to crawl, walk, climb and more while also looking really cute.
