The girls start the show getting right into the signature bakes from this week's carmel episode.  Lisa shares her own millionaire's shortbread bake and how Georgie and Andy each made a familiar candy bar.  With an iconic French tarte tatin technical, both Lisa and Allison discard the challenge as "not great", and Lisa wonders if her cheat ice cream recipe could get past the judges...  Allison brings up the absence of footage showing the bakers' skill sets in the final. The girls then discuss  mirror glazes, the high cost of isomalt, and how you can melt down candies instead. Lisa wonders about the budget for ingredients when the subject of Dylan's amalfi lemon show stopper is brought up, and both girls muse that there always seems to be a flavor king or queen each season.
