Therefore, anyone who applies the word of God to his/her life is wise and would get lasting happiness. Philippians 4:6 ; 2 Corinthians 10:12 ; 3John 1:2; God wants you to prosper, no matter where you are now. It is foolishness to be comparing yourself with someone else. Your timing is not theirs, neither has God set yours with another. Ecclesiastes 2:1 - 26 (NIV) 2. Don't consume more than you require. A lot of things that are making us worry, or creating a picture of happiness in our heads, won't make us happy on the long run.
