YOU'RE INVITED

from Road To Life Podcast · host Pastor Dave Gargano

In this sermon, Pastor Dave discusses the importance of inviting others to experience the love of Jesus, emphasizing that Christians should act as "fishers of men." He shares stories from the Bible, highlighting how Jesus sought out those who were often overlooked or judged by society, proving that no one is beyond redemption. Pastor Dave also encourages the congregation to share their personal testimonies as a means of outreach and to create connections with people who need to hear about God's grace. Ultimately, he challenges everyone to actively invite others to church and to be part of the mission to bring people to Christ.Luke 19:5  When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.”Matthew 4:18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”Romans 10:14 But how can they call on Him if they have not put their trust in Him? And how can they put their trust in Him if they have not heard of Him? And how can they hear of Him unless someone tells them? 15 And how can someone tell them if he is not sent? The Holy Writings say, “The feet of those who bring the Good News are beautiful.”1 John 5:10 10 The one who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies confidently on Him as Savior] has the testimony within himselfMatthew 28:19-20 9 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”John 1:45-47 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” 46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
