Fifteen young leaders and twenty adults came together for a powerful week-long Youth Leadership Intensive, where teens shared real issues, co-created solutions with community leaders, and proved they’re not just asking to be heard—they’re already leading. With support from the Bermuda Police Service and Commissioner of Education, and a heartfelt endorsement from Minister Tinee Furbert—who awarded four top advocacy honors—the event underscored that true leadership is about action, not title. Part of a five-year Youth Leadership Academy launched in 2011, this intensive is just the start: next up, students launch five-month change projects.
