2° is a podcast dedicated to having constructive and positive discussions around climate change and climate related policy in the U.S. 2° is a project of the New York Youth Climate Leaders which is a policy-driven organization of youth from across New York State that coordinates and empowers youth to advocate for comprehensive, equitable, and effective climate solutions. We believe there is power in state policy and that climate change is an intersectional issue that must be tackled from multiple stand points. We know that the work we do in New York has relevance to other states in the U.S. and the world and we hope this podcast will emphasize the importance of grassroots organizing and policy in the climate movement.

NY2CL was founded by just 3 high-schoolers, and has grown in less than a year to become a coalition of over 60 youth organizations across New York State.
