The story of Charlotte O’Brien
Mat and Kelly are the parents of Charlotte O’Brien, who at 12yrs of age, tragically took her own life in September 2024 after being bullied online and offline. Charlotte’s parents played a pivotal role in the 36 Months movement to raise the age of social media citizenship to 16. Charlotte had one final wish - to share her story and put an end to the relentless bullying that has taken far too many young lives already. It’s in that spirit that Mat and Kelly bravely share Charlotte’s story.
