4Colours - Inspired by Vinyl Underground
From my earliest exposure to dance music I was transformed. It took me to new places. Gave me new emotions. Something music hadn't done up to that point. I wanted to know more than just dancing, fun as it was. The cult of the DJ intrigued me, specifically blending two songs to make one. Being able to control the emotions of the dance floor. Twisting and shaping the vibe. It appealed immediately. After finding my way to a neighbours set up and discovering artists, labels, and genres. I started to hear about a chap selling "imports" from his house. The US garage as it was called then was mysterious. It was exciting. it was expensive. A few years later I moved to Northampton and walking into Vinyl underground on that first occasion was, strange to say the least. Marching through a few floors of sofas and furniture, I wondered if I'd made it to the right place. When I got to the top floor everything made sense. My musical journey was about to take an exciting turn, the foundations had been laid with the neighbours set up but here was a shop that seemed to sell all the tunes I needed and the tunes I didn't know I needed. VU helped to create an attitude to DJing that has never left my sets. The desire to build a mood and create an emotional connection. The music that I bought in those early years has absolutely stood the test of time and I wanted to do a "best of" set for this mix. However that would've ended up being a few days long, so I concentrated on creating a vibe. Something Aidy and the VU lads have nurtured over the years in the records they've pushed. Weaving an emotional feel through a set and creating a mood. Getting lost in rhythms and chords and building a connection with the listener. An evolving thing, not just big bangers. This mix is a burner and rewards the listener who commits. Enjoy it. Share it. Catch my vibe monthly Sundays on d3ep radio network. 10.00am gmt Check out my soundcloud here >> https://soundcloud.com/4colours Instagram >> https://www.instagram.com/4colours_4cee/ Track list Mr G - Find Love (ambient mix) // Phoenix G Scott Grooves - Opening Report // SJ Khotin - Mornings || // Khotin Industries Martin T - Pour L'Echaffaud // Alelah Records Brijean - Crushing On You // Not On Label Colcutter - Agama // On The Corner RKLS - Hours Go By // r2 Records Moonstarr - C Minus Particles // Public Transit Recordings Passport - Cool Captain Rendesvu // No Acting Vibes Tom Ellis - Ruby Kiss // Not On Label Tom Ellis - Select Reject // Not On Label Ian Fink - Living Room On Elmhurst // Not On Label Adam Stromsdedt - Hope This Helps // Gestalt Records DJ QU & JM Frias - Future // Strength Music Recordings Urulu - Quadrant Beat // Saft Central - Political Dance // Dekmantel Manuel Tur - Sun Collector // Spaced Repetitions Neue Graffik - Chateau Rouge // Le Petit Zoo The Paradox feat Jeff Mills - Super Solid // Axis Chris Gray - Sweetness You Bring // Deep4Life Amir Alexander - Love Notes To Brooklyn // Smallville Records Move D - Sun Un Bateau Avec Eric // Uzuri Records Nortasun - Untilted 3 // Saft Jon Easley - Lemon & Lime // Rush Hour Urulu - Romance Track // Saft RT Sound Factor - 7th Heaven // Electric Blue LK - I Know I Know // Trax Underground Zopelar - Night Rider (Felipe Gordan mix) // Phonogramme Khotin - Air Theme // Khotin Industries Cheers 4c (Lee

4c - The Mix Room #7
Welcome to Mix-room number 7. Apologies for the delay in getting this one up. Here we are though, so strap in for a deep one. Scuba gear at the ready? Some serious Electro inspired this mix as well as some classic Sheffield bleep. I had such a vibe on this one. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. The mix starts off innocently enough with some looped up Disco inspired slow jams, building into some chuggy head down groovers. Rise and fall with me as I weave a way through the genres of the deep, into classic bleep and harder edge techno tinged house. I love the rise and fall of this mix. I meander through the deepest of 4/4 with peaks of europhoria and joyful contemplative moments. Taking you back into the music. I'll be back soon with more deep journey mixes for you and your ears. Stay blessed, stay lucky. Be kind, be patient. One love. 4c x Track list to follow.

4c - The Mix Room #6
The Mix Room has made it to number 6. A lovely journey on this mix. I ease you in gently with some fine re-edits, into nice jazzy beats, and then upping the tempo into some quality house. Some nodding, some shaking , some shuffling, and some spinning ensued. You do you though and if that means feet up with a nice cuppa. Who am I to judge. Enjoy the vibes. Track list to follow. 4c - The Mix Room #4
Wow. We're onto show number four already. More deep dives into the wonderful world of electronica. Deep beats, deep mixes, deep mind state, deep relaxation, deep meditation, deep joy, and of course deep love. Shouts out to the producers for making these amazing tunes. The listeners for your ears, and my long suffering wife for all her support. This mix is much better with some time given to enjoy in all its glory but dive in and out as you see fit. Recommended with headphones. Enjoy and let the chill, chill you out. One love. 4c x

More cover business from me. This time rolling for Jon Manley and his Houseworx show. An absolute institution. Pure freestyle sessions as usual from me on the mix, but kept it very upbeat as you can't go moody on a Friday. Enjoy the vibes and share away.

Hello luvvies. I hope all is well in your world. so glad to see you. If you made it here you obviously have a keen eye and most importantly, ear. Welcome to the second show in "The Mix Room" series. No specific theme on this mix, just a nice journey taking in some beat-down, moving into some gorgeous soothing house, taking the explorations towards the dance floor and finishing lost in the groove. Stick it on your head phones and take a couple of hours for yourself. Make a nice brew, put your feet up (if you don't get up and groove once I'll be surprised) and enjoy. Peep the tracklist, comment and share far and wide. One love. 4c x

A re-recording of sorts of the first Rhythmic Addiction event held at Bricks in Brixton. Guest deejays myself, Braaks, Stu Clarke (Wolf Music) and the headliner Frits Wentik, The live didn't record on the night. So I pulled the tunes and mixed up from memory. In one hit. Strictly vinyl. With all the scars kept in for flavour. A wicked night all round. Many thanks to Braaks for inviting me down to get the party started. Keep an eye out for future events. They will be top level. Hello there, For the first in a new series of shows and mixes I bring you: The Mix Room For the first mix I dive into the modern sound of Detroit. Based around the Hip-Hop, and House vibe. 4c sessionAlpha25 vol18
Well, hello there, Another weekend passes. Another sessionAlpha25 is released. We've made it up to vol #18 now. I hope everyone is well and you've had many highlights to your week, made valuable connections, and generally been spectacular at every opportunity. To business then. I had deep techno intentions on this mix, starting with the speaker breaker that is Simon from Sydney by L.F.O. However, it morphed into a whole different vibe. I'm really pleased it did because I love the randomness of this mix. Bizarrely the flow plays. (Fight me :)) A rather lovely trip into slightly more bouncy, funky, jazzy territory ensues. (All good intentions, eh!) I found it difficult to keep still while recording this one and may have worn a hole in the carpet! As usual, it's a one take mix, and we go where the flow takes me. As in the case of the previous mix, I ended up on a classic curveball. Trust this mix will take you away to pastures new, both figuratively and literally. It's great for the commute, gym, walk, chill, and of course the dance. Bless up. 4c x Track list Bladerunner - Leon L.F.O - Simon From Sydney Brad Peterson - Virtual Headspace Omar S - Rewind Marvin Belten - Love Will Find A Way Byron The Aquarius - Can We Do It Again (Dub mix) Messes Basses - Ruddy Fox FCL - The House Music Track (Kai Alce mix) Kerem Akdag - Studio Pimp Jovonn - Satisfied Larry De Kat - Depicted (Gee's mix) Moodymann - Telephone Blue Roza Teranzi - Mwah Crystal Maze - Dr Claw Cal Super - All We Have Is Speed Ben Hauke - Nightwork feat Joe Armon Jones Karmasound - Raices Name In Lights - Postmortem (Tooli Mix) Computer Data - Absendrot J Albert - Don't Hide It Natureboy Flako - . Textures 004
A recent trip to Sudbury in Suffolk inspired this mix. A lovely day out in a lovely town. The picture taken of the exterior of the Gainsbourgh house showed the different finishes on the buildings façade. So in the case of this mix I take the literal sense of the word texture. The mix, unlike the others in the series has minimal 4/4 and is more comfortable in the relaxed space. Like the other textures series however I touch on many different genre's as the flow progresses. I'll sign off now and let you enjoy the mix. Take care and see you real soon. 4c x

textures 003
Continuing the textures series. Something that came out of nothing. I've been sitting on this lovely coastal image for while. Textures 003 starts with some introspective deepness and then we get on the groovy loops. It's a short, but oh so sweet mix. The picture , Suffolk coast in early January inspired the mix. A selection of tunes with thoughtful moments. A lovely walking mix. Another one for your headphones. Image cropped to tease. No manipulation. Enjoy the view. Enjoy the music. Comment. Engage, but most of all enjoy. 4c x Recorded in one take. Allen & Heath PX5 Technics 1210 mk1 x2 Traktor dvs vinyl. vinyl. 4c - Suffolk coast // 2025

Part two of a series of mixes based on the theme "texture" This Totem in The museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge really caught my eye. It inspired this mix. Enjoy.

4c textures 001
Textures 001 kicks of a new series for 2025. Picture taken in Cambridge one foggy Thursday evening. The pictures (a small series of shadow on raised concrete) inspired me to get back behind the decks and try a new exciting series of music accompaniments to my 'snaps' I'll be adding to this series often, (I find its best not confirm dates as I always break them). Expect to see a new image with a new mix as regularly as I can muster. Hope you vibe on these as I put them out. Please comment, engage and most of all. Enjoy. 4c x Tracklist Sage Caswell - Y'all Dudley Perkins - Forevaendless Jura Soundsystem - Cafafe Denim House Smoke Mark Seven - Helping Hand Rodaestet - Nishikawa II Larry Heard - Dolphin Dream Safar Ansari / Ian Fink - Walk In D Garden Sampology - Peace Lily Sebastian Tellier - La Ritournelle Roman Flugel - Wood & Neon William The Squid - Arab Sun Khotin - Fever Loop Kindimmer - Leaving Harry Griffiths - 300 Loopz The Maestro - What A Life Vincent Floyd - Economy In Motion Jesse Bru - The Ground Beneth Carlos Nilmmns - Light & Shadow Kaytranada - Bullets (Feat Little Dragon) equipment used Technics 1210 mk1 x 2 Allen and Heath PX5 Traktor dvs vinyl. one take mix.

4colours OFITC 95
It's been a while since I added to this series. But here we are. Number 95 for your ears. A mic free deep jaunt from Ambient to electro stopping along the way into house and tech territory. As is the usual way with the One Foot sessions, I take you on a lovely meander through this deep spectrum of music. Recorded in one go, to keep it real, raw and a snapshot of a time. Enjoy, share, comment, ask for track listings. One love 4c x

The fourth episode of my weekly outings on the awesome DEQ radio. Plenty of vibes in the mix. Sloppy blends and all. Rough, raw, and most definitely rugged.

Saturday Social #3
Part three of my weekly trips on the always vibey DEQ radio. This one became a trip into hip hop, beats and all sorts of lovely left field deepness. Enjoy. Very live, very raw, very rugged.

ABOUT THIS SHOW
Hello all. HelloI like to collect deep beats, groovy beats, melodic beats. Good beats. I've been lucky enough to grace the decks on many a dancefloor and radio station. Currently broadcasting Monthly Saturdays at 21:00 gmt on D3EP Radio Network. The vibe is mostly centred around deep melodic house and techno while occasionally dropping an acidic bomb accompanied by a whole host of House, Melodic Techno, and Ambient with an occasional curve ball thrown in.Take a ride with me as I dive into my record racks and explore. Blended to showcase a laid back vibe. I let the tunes breathe. Let your ears enjoy.Hit reset and explore the beats. You'll be guaranteed to be entertained plus, you’ll hear more notes that your dog does! For contact you can https://linktr.ee/4coloursclubDon't forget to check out my edits series. I very occasionally throw up a extended rare bird. https://soundcloud.com/4colours_edits
