A Man Amongst Men

It’s always important to do a humble self audit. Am I truly living through Christ, or am I cherry picking what I want, or what I think I need. If you find yourself easily digesting the word and it’s been a while since it’s left you feeling called out of comfort or convicted into change in yourself then this is the episode for you. Time to change that filter

It isn't until Sampson is blind that he FINALLY begins to see. In this episode we see ourselves in Sampson's own flawed and broken humanity and the many poor decisions he made, one ofd which was being driven by his feelings and having his heart rooted in things of the world rather than honoring his Nazarite vow faithfully and being rooted in God. When people show you who they are... where they stand, believe them and adjust according to what the word says. But more importantly, don't put your stock in who others are, what other say, or where others stand... put your stock in who you are through Christ, what HE says, and where HE stands.  

Which do you find yourself focusing on more? If it's circumstances, you may currently find yourself frustrated, irritated, or flat out apathetic towards some of the things you'd like to change in your life. Progress isn't easy with all the various different circumstances we have to endure in our adult lives. Whether it's the practicalities and responsibilities of life or the unexpected and sometimes tragic occurrences that we all endure in a world that's imperfect at best for all of us. Let's face it, circumstances sometimes, if not most of the time, flat out suck! So how can we ever make progress then?!?! What if a slight shift in focus could change everything and FINALLY set you on a path to progress, no matter what obstacles oppose you? 

Old solutions may seem easiest but we’re called to new solutions that require more and more faith. It’s so important that we remember we aren’t called backwards but rather called forward to greater action, greater faith, and new and fruitful seasons all throughout our lives.

We are called, and through our callings, are meant to bless and serve people. We cannot allow the reactions, opinions, and assertions of Man to distract, diminish, or take us outside of the calling and will that our Father has for us. We must actively maintain that our love and passion for our Father and His calling on us be greater than anything of Man that stands to deter or distract us.
