Today’s guest is a mans whose life is a beautiful collision of purpose, perseverance, and calling. From the bustling streets of Santiago, Chile, to the mountains of Reno, Nevada, Pastor Leo Castro of Eternity Christian Center has lived a life of faith and transformation. He’s not just a husband, father, or a pastor, but he is a bridge builder between cultures, a servant leader in the Hispanic church, and a man who walked away from corporate success to chase something greater; God’s call. Currently serving as the state director of Hispanic ministries for the Nevada Baptist Convention, Pastor Leo Castro is also the founding pastor of Eternity Christian Center, and the author of his book, “Apokalypsis, the Best is Yet to Come.”Pastor Leo also earned an Associate of Arts in Theology and Counseling from Trinity College in San Jose, California and was ordained as a minister by the same institution. He currently holds a masters degree in Counseling and Theology and is currently pursuing his doctorate at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Pastor Leo is a man with a message for this generation. HIs journey is marked with humility, sacrifice, and incredible faith. This one is personal. Here is my story of moving to the United States. The struggles that I faced going to school in a different country, challenges with my relationships, my parents divorce, thoughts of suicide and possible crime, all leading up to my coming of faith and encounter with Jesus. Jhem is currently the owner of Ace Dry cleaning with multiple locations around the Reno/Sparks area. He has been in the dry cleaning business for 20 years, was a previous smog check shop owner, involvement in the carpet cleaning business prior, and also owning his own car shop in the past, but beneath the hustle, there was a man that built a legacy. Continuous pushing, not caring of being tired, but being committed to his family, to his business, one pressed shirt at a time, one smog check at a time. Rommel M Ferrer:Retired LTC of Nevada Army National Guard G3. Deputy chief of staff plans operations and training. Ro was born in Manila, Philippines and immigrated to the US in 1986. He initially enlisted in the Marine Corp from 1991-1995 and then enlisted in the Nevada Army National Guard in 2004. Was commissioned as Second Lieutenant through Officer Candidate School in 2005. He commanded the Nevada Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion. He recently assumed the Nevada Army National Guard G3 duties and responsibilities.
