Accountable Menopause Health Strategies focuses on authoring an individual process, plan or service for each woman that is personalized through evidence based research. Then, that individual plan, process or service is aligned with an intuitive element helping to discern and distinguish what will work for that specific woman. Lastly, this is supplemented by an accountable plan for responsibility and empowerment, followed by critical re-evaluation and re-discernment. My goal with this podcast is to share evidential information to educate women on what menopause is, and what self-care, lifestyle and treatment options there are to reduce their symptoms and optimize their long-term health. I teach how to find and interpret research and headlines so they are not duped into trying the latest fad diet, or supplement or “cold plunge” trend without discerning whether it is right for them. Accountable Menopause Health Strategies Podcast Introduction
This is Sarah Lussier, owner and founder of Accountable Menopause Health Strategies (Accountable Meno for short). I’m a Menopause Health Mediator and Strategist. Welcome to the Accountable Menopause podcast.I created this podcast because as I entered perimenopause in my early 40s and was starting to experience new health issues, I realized that I didn’t know a whole lot about menopause or the years transitioning to it, and neither did the majority of my women clients at the gym nor my women friends.My goal with this podcast is to share evidential information to educate women on what menopause is, and what self-care, lifestyle and treatment options there are to reduce their symptoms and optimize their long-term health. I teach how to find and interpret research and headlines so they are not duped into trying the latest fad diet, or supplement or “cold plunge” trend without discerning whether it is right for them. After all, every woman is different, and what works for a woman or even many women may not work for you.I also share stories of women who found positivity through their experience and can bring hope regarding this crucial milestone that should not be feared, but celebrated.
