Why Women Choose The Bear
The US men's hockey team may have won the gold, but they've forever tarnished their reputation. In this week's podcast, we explore how not standing up for women when you have the chance to leads to them wanting to choose the bear. Please note: as of this podcast airing, 5 men on Team USA hockey have declined to attend the State of the Union - kudos to them. There has still been no statement from Team USA Hockey, nor the NHL. Rather than any member of the team speaking out, they literally sent their Mom - Ellen Hughes (mother of 2 players) - to be on the Today Show, where when she was asked about the controversy, never addresssed it in her answer, but rather talked about how proud she was of both the men and women's teams. 🙄 Jean Campbell, LCSW, SEP, TTP, TEP has been bringing together groups of people to heal for over 30 years.
