ADHD and Adulthood: What does that even mean?

In this episode we try to make sense of what "being an adult" actually means, especially when you have ADHD. We unpack where our ideas about adulthood come from, why so many people with ADHD feel behind or childish, and whether those expectations were ever realistic to begin with. Our conversation touches on letting go of societal standards, identifying what actually works for you, and the role self-compassion plays in all of it.Official Tea of the Episode: Herbal Tea Chapters:00:00 Exploring Adulthood with ADHD06:09 The Perception of Childishness16:23 Emotional Reactions and Memory22:55 Adulting and Adulthood35:12 Challenges in the WorkplaceResourcesADDA - ADHD at Work:https://add.org/impact-of-adhd-at-work/ADHD and the prefrontal cortex:https://www.additudemag.com/adhd-brain-prefrontal-cortex-attention-emotions/Herbal tea vs true teahttps://danettemay.com/actual-tea-vs-herbal-tea-yes-theres-a-difference/More of the Hosts: Tassi: https://www.instagram.com/tassi_theclassilassiJesse: https://linktr.ee/Jesse.elanAnd don't forget to eat your veggies🥦
