Welcome to Adventures in SLIGHTLY Above Average Parenting. I’m Max’s Mom. That’s not the name I was born with but it seems to be the name that is sticking the most these days so I’ve CLAIMED IT! I’m Max’s Mom, the artist formerly known as Candice. I’m the proud mother to a year of the dragon, Gemini, I’ve been here before, 7 going on 45-year-old boy named Maximus Chase. He is the joy of my heart, the source of my greys and the reason I drink occasionally. In addition to being his mom, I consider myself a community mom. What does that mean? That means, I try to be what I had and needed to the village/posse I’ve built. Guess what, you are all part of that posse now. I shall call us, the parent posse. Aside from being a mom, I’ve lived the life of a licensed teacher and actor. This trifecta allows me to be an edutainer. Don’t judge me, I spend most of my time with little people.
