Last time i stopped after taking the tickets for chairlifts and entering the place from where the chairlifts were accessible. If you want to read more about that journey, click here. Today i will be taking you people along with me on chairlifts and the beautiful views i witnessed at the top of Malam jabba. After taking some pictures at the point where Malam jabba was written in big letters we moved further and went downstairs as that was the place pointed by the guard if we had to take the chairlifts. That whole place was covered in snow and it was a moment of wonder for us as we had heard from the locals that the last snowfall there was 3,4 days before but this snow looked fresh and beautiful. I asked an official who was standing there and he said that it's a mixture of natural and artificial snowfall, the authorities manage to take care of it in order to attract the tourists. some fellas doing skating near the chairlift entrance I thought that we will just go down and sit on the chairlifts but they made each point really attractive. There were some restaurants too but i already knew that the prices will be out of range so i turned my face after the first sight on them. Lol This was a beautiful green frame made with artificial grass carpets. Public made it a little bit dirty but still the picture came awesome. Hehe our crew The officials and guards there were continuously saying us to leave that place but we still managed to capture a group photo Infront of the net where those skaters were present. The place was really crowded and i saw some people jumping over the rods to cross the line but we followed the rules and regulations in order to maintain the discipline. Also it was our first time there so we didn't want any trouble. Finally we sat on the chairlift, i got hit by it as it didn't stop and i stood a little bit away from the exact point where they asked me to stand. Anyways, along with @tahastories1 i continued my journey towards the top point of Malam jabba. The views from there looked really amazing and i saw the patched snow which made it clear that the beautiful snow we witnessed earlier was a result of artificial work. We saw some new faces going backwards and said hi to some of them. A girl, alone, was heading backwards and it was clear from her expressions that she was afraid, i passed some words of courage to her and she felt thankful. A good thing i did on the trip, hehe. me and tahastories1 Taha was a little afraid but he didn't show it. So we finally reached the top point. The place was a little less crowded as i expected, might be because the people went to left and right. I will show you the left and right too but first i had to deal with these culprits with fake camera lens asking for pictures. Huh. After dealing with them, i continued to witness the beautiful scenery this point was providing. I should charge you people for showing all this beauty for free, hehe. Anyways, the snow covered mountains were evident from here too. Which means this whole swat valley is covered in snow in that time. There are other points to visit too, which i will visit next time. After spending some time here, experiencing the best moments of my life, i moved to the left side where people were playing in snow, i decided to do that too. Now this place looked like a good snowy thing to play with. It was not a result of some artificial efforts but might be because it was the top point and the snow stayed good a little longer, anyways, i am not here for analysis so it was time to start the job. I witnessed people making fake snowfall for their captures. They were asking someone to make a snowball and throw it in the air, which then falls like snow and in the meanwhile cameraman was ready with his bursts. with snowball with snowfall Here i am with my own made snowfall. I threw the ball in air and then blasted it with my hands, and the results are Infront of you. There were some more activities to do too, which i saw people doing and decided to do them myself. rate my art I literally had no idea how to make a snowman, i only remembered one from a movie from my childhood "frozen" and tried to make it. Can you people tell me how successful i was in my attempt? Anyways, i myself realized after looking at other people who made theirs. One of my friend asked me to come with him and explore the nearby forest through hiking. I was tired but in the hope of something worthy, i joined him. After looking at the sloppy stairs, i asked him again about the top point and he replied that nothing special, only a place covered with trees. He hadn't finished talking yet when i turned and came back to the point from where i started. First i moved left and did all those activities, now it was time to go right. The area present on the right side wasn't big enough but still had some good stuff to provide with. I witnessed some other interesting things too besides of these beautiful views. hut on a tree a broke swing That hut and the swing caught my attention but upon reaching the swing, i realised that it hadn't any sitting material on it and i didn't want to hurt my butt sitting on that empty hard iron. Already the cold breeze was killing me. So i cancelled the plan to take the swing but i did climbed the hut. Well, that was the last activity to do there. I rushed towards his home and after reaching there he told me he needed my help in making his project assigned by his professor. I wondered as my degree is English and he is an IT student, how could be our projects similar, later on i realized, he needed my help with the camera, lol. He asked me to film him, while he makes his project. I asked him about the project and he told me that his professor demanded a bulb which can be turned on and off from your bed and you can also connect it to your mobile incase the remote is lost or can't be reached. He had some material like motherboards type of things, some batteries, wires and all that stuff. I was just standing there, first i decided to capture the whole DIY but he became angry and asked me to pay attention on the video film only, so i did that part and came back home. I don't think if anyone of you remember my Mum's little garden journey which initiated on the 10th of October. I remember the date, lol. The garden mainly included spinach along with some turnips and reddish too. Spinach is actually loved in the winters here so that's why maybe it's planted here at home. If you want to look at the starting journey, just click here. I woke up in the morning and saw no sun and only fog in the open area. I decided to check the garden and was really surprised with the progress. So, here is the grown up image of that garden if you visited the initial state in the post mentioned above. This isn't only spinach in there but reddish and turnip too. I will further show them by finding as the majority is spinach here. Those little species are hiding their faces inside the soil so it might be a little difficult to spot them. While i was exploring and found some turnips i asked my mum that why she made a puzzle in here. Was it because seeds slipped out of her hands, she laughed and said i just wanted to plant them all in this little area. It was strange for me as there was a lot of soil around and she could have planted them separately. Well, i quit the turnip search as i witnessed some of them and now it was time to hunt down the reddish. I really want to bring you people here and show you actually how i found them. They were even more difficult to spot than turnip, they were a little clear because of their different colour but this was white and hiding in the corners. I found one in one corner than other in the other, lol. Now was the time to hunt down the grand one, actually not hunt down because it was clearly visible. Well, spinach is also not that easy to spot as there are leaves of turnips and reddish also visible in there. But if you are a real gardener you will be spotting spinach easily. I asked my mom when they are going to harvest and she replied we have harvested it many times, it regrows and the process is repeated. Whoa man... I was surprised. Here is what i found in the end. The beauty of the garden summed up in the end. I actually don't know the name of this flower but it looked really beautiful with its yellow colour. I couldn't find any other and the garden report also sums up here. I hope you people have enjoyed the journey of this very little but full of variations garden. It was a fun exploration for me too. I am in my summer vacations nowadays and the sad thing for me is that i haven't explored any tourist spot in this summer due to some reasons. But yesterday, my friend asked me to accompany him towards a waterfall, to be honest, i wasn't in the mood but he insisted me too much, so i was there with him. We picked our bikes and started our journey towards the destination. It was around 45km away from our university. Actually many people are on summer holidays that's why traffic jam was obvious. It took us around more than an hour to reach the parking area. The parking area was half way down the waterfall. And now we had to hike up in order to reach the destination. I am good in hiking but i haven't done it for a long period of time so it was really exhausting for me. It was ok for me but my friend who insisted me to come here was really tired. He is a bit fat guy, that's why he was sitting on the rocks after every five steps he make ahead. Jokes apart, i was actually worried about him because he is having asthma and that dumb didn't bring his inhaler with him. That's why i made sure he catches up on his breath. On the way upwards, we found a little waterfall pouring some fresh water. My friend drank a lot from here because the water tasted so sweet. Unluckily we hadn't any water bottles with us otherwise i must have filled them when coming back from there. The paths were getting beautiful as we were reaching upwards. The natural water flowing from inside the rocks looking so beautiful. The bad thing about it was that we can't step in there because there was no way to get up from the watery path otherwise it would have become much easier. Whenever we step our feet in the water, the cool and refreshing feel just took away our tiredness. But i cheered my friend up that we are just a little behind to reaching our actual destination. He was now getting angry because every time he asked from me how much distance is left i told him we are just there (and he was the one insisted me to come here). And now i was the one leading, lol. This is the moment when we both became happy and our tiredness just vanished in a moment. This view just caught our whole attention. We took out our mobiles (i was having mine in hand already) and sent the snaps to show off. This was a view worthy of to make other jealous. This place is actually hidden and less people know about it, that's why we couldn't encountered any crowd here. After reaching the destination, we couldn't hold off and jumped in. I first got in the water barefooted but there were pointy rocks underwater so i had to come out and wear my shoes to peacefully swim in the water. It was so much fun and we spent around one and a half hour in the water. There were people having bbq plan there so we also decided to bring a large group of friends with these equipments next time. When we started to shiver completely because of the cold water, we stepped out and headed back to the parking area. It was again going to be long hard journey but this time with refreshing minds. I have listened to this hamd since my childhood and today, thanks to vibes music competition that i got a chance to perform this. Oh and yes, don't worry you guys... Actually this is my first post in this community as i was unaware of the fact that we southeast people also have a general community to post. As many of you guys know that today was a big day for all the Muslims over the world. Actually it was the big Eid among the two Eids we Muslim celebrate in a year. This Eid is named as Eid-ul-adha (pronounced as Eid-ul-azha). It is a ritual to slaugher or sacrifice animals Let's start the story of first day I got up early in the morning because we have to offer the Eid prayer early in the morning and after that the rest of the things start. So it was announced a day before that eid namaz will be offered at 8:00 AM. I got up at around 7:00 am and took shower. My wearables were ready as i made them ready last night so i just wore everything (i always get excited to wear new clothes and shoes). The masjid I reached there around 7:30 and saw that people were collecting funds for the masjid. Actually there is a thing that on both Eids they do collect funds from people as a large number of people come to masjid for Eid prayer. The fund is later on used for the development of mosque (masjid). Coming on the point, we offered the prayer at 8:00 am and after that it was the time to perform the main ritual of the Eid. The male goats As i reached the home i saw the butchers were already there with all the equipments to perform the ritual. I brought the goats from where they were before, towards home. The butcher by turns performed the act and then we were having the meat and cutting them into small pieces. <the delicious meat As the meat was in front of us, now we decided to put it on fire. I mean to cook the meat and have our breakfast (the only day we eat only meat as a breakfast). So we simply put it in a large steel bowl and wait for it to cook completely. Then it is time for the real magic to happen, do your guys want me to show you the magic? Ok let's go see this plate full of cooked meat where did the meat go? Ok ok! Lemme become dora the explorer for you 😜 the meat went inside my belly and i galloped it all. But it happened so fast that i was even in a doubt if i ate the whole. So i went for another plate, hehe. the stylish ahmed the decent ahmed ahmed with his buddy As everything for the morning was done so it was time to have some fun. I took my buddy with me and we had a good photography session. Then we went for the sweets which were delivered to our home from relatives who paid us a visit on this very special occasion [(especially gulab jamun, my fav)but don't tell my mum about that]. There is also a ritual of getting Eidi from our elders which i tried but this time my Eidi was not up to the mark, like the target which i set wasn't achieved so i will skip that part to keep my mood fresh. So i did some outing with my buddy and when it was evening time then again it was time to do something exciting. marinated meat for BBQ This is also the most exciting part of eid for me as BBQ is one of my favourite meal. I came home and saw that marinated meat, observed that it is fine to be made BBQ of now. I set-up everything (my other family members also helped me in that). As you can see the BBQ is going on (sorry for the blurry or foggy image as there is a lot of smoke) and here i am sitting writing this blog for you people (i asked my brother to sit for a while on the hot seat) and now it is my turn again. As my university stands number one in the country and is one of the best university if you want to enjoy freedom along with your studies. There is also a variety of events which occur in my university and are arranged by the university faculty members or sometimes by the students themselves. This time it is all about a book fair event which occurred at my university's central library. Before i could proceed any further after entering the place the entrance itself caught my attention as there was a unique thing. They placed a board with your thoughts as a big writing on it. Students just filled it with their thoughts and i read terrible things there. Lol No doubt the student group who organised this book fair did a wonderful job in decorating the entrance. I was noticing people around the thought board and some of them getting the pen and a sticky note also. Further i also saw these pages giving an aesthetic look there adding to the booky environment of the area. Well, i started from the first stall and it had all the comprehension and grammar related books. I should have asked who in university reads grammar 😂 (but i noticed a senior purchasing there, so quiet 🤐). The good thing was that they already mentioned before each stall that which category they were holding and i liked it as i dont have to just check every single of them. I was noticing a good crowd there and was also happy to see that people still have interest in the books when it is an era of mobile phones and watching documentaries over Facebook. I myself sometimes listen to the summary of any book (but only if i find the book less interesting). Actually i was in search for a novel The kite runner which is written by an Afghan-american author who tells story of a guy from Afghanistan. I had heard the story is impressive and holds many emotional plus moral points so i decided to purchase it. I reached the table where there was supposed to be novels but as i aksed they disappointed me :(. I wasn't in a mood to leave the place yet so i decided to check some other books. The guy with me was getting bored so i asked him to leave if he wants as i wasn't in a mood that someone keeps me pushing. He left (as i expected) and i continued to check the books. See, what i found... Incase you people are not familiar this is a book written by sandy gall and he writes about Ahmad shah masoud who was a resistance for Afghanistan in (ah, i can't remember the date) and further details you can find in the book. If you want to read something good, i can recommend you this accidentally found book but only if you have some interest in history. Well, i didn't purchased the book as i only had money for the kite runner so, i left after a while and was deciding to visit any book shop for my desired book. Well, that's all from my side. I know you guys have been doing a lot of sneaky stuff in your life like stealing your siblings snacks or bunking the classes and a lot of more stuff like that. But have you ever done something stealthy related to the bicycle?? If not then read this and tell me if you are daring to do something like that.. So the story starts from when i called @tahastories1 and asked for if the bicycle of his friend is available or not. I usually ride that bicycle here in university because i don't have any bicycle of my own in here. Taha said to me that his friend isn't here but the bicycle is in the parking. He was a good friend that is why i went there and asked taha to take out the friend's bicycle. Taha took the bicycle out and instructed me to put it back before the friend returns. Well, this was now gonna be a difficult task. Now i was bound to the hostel's main road and couldn't take the bicycle somewhere else because i had to spot that friend and put the bicycle back before he could reach the parking lot. The scenery was a perfect one for a good afternoon right there as greenery was all over there with some boys playing cricket and birds chirping as usually. While i was riding the bicycle taha was keeping a really sharp eye on me as he knew me that i might take the bicycle far away 😂. Well, i didn't break his trust and kept the bicycle on the road. I also took the bicycle inside the hostel garden which is no more a garden because of lack of the needed care. I remember when i joined the university there was so much greenery in the inner yard but now it is just a barren place with unequal grass on both sides of the pathway made by people. Now i decided to take the bicycle over there as i wasn't able to find any other path because of two eyes properly watching me. The photographer was really bad in capturing and i was continuously asking him to take good pictures. He put all his effort in the last shot and will tell you why it was the last one. The real owner of the bike returned and i wasn't paying any attention over there but it was taha who was madly running towards me 🤣 shouting "Ahmad, Ahmad, park the bicycle back" and i took pity on him because i knew if today he found that we used his bicycle without his consent he might not give his bicycle again. As you all know, Pinmapple is going towards closing, so I decided to make a blog as my last blog in this, one of my favorite communities on Hive. I know many of us are going to miss this community but nothing is going to last forever. Well, let's come towards the enchanting beauty of my blog. This time I am going to share one of my tours in the north of Pakistan, where nature feels proud of its beauty. Yes, I am talking about Gilgit-Baltistan (a semi-provincial state of Pakistan). You will feel the beauty of the whole world concentrated in this place. Our tour consisted of 3 days, starting from Minimarg, towards skardu and then naltar valley and finally to hunza. This was part of our plan, but I knew that this wasn't something that could be done in one day. That's why we planned to stay there. The mountains in the domel area are mesmerizing enough to make a person lose themselves. When I went there, I felt like I was lost in the beauty of these enchanting mountains. These images are from the first morning when i was staying in minimurg. Domel is the name of area where these mountains exist. Actually there is no hotel to stay in domel and that's what i disliked there. We had to stay in minimarg that day which is a bit far from domel. Lemme show you people the place where we stayed in minimarg. Can you spot my puma bag anywhere in the room? The resort was quite expensive but the location was worth it. The amazing thing was that there was no fan like thing in any room of the resort because of the pleasant weather over there. That's people always prefer to visit the northern areas of Pakistan in the summer vacations. Our next stop was safaranga dessert. The desert is also known as cold desert because it was a river before (indus river) where you can see the sand all over there now. The place remains cold in every weather condition. And tbh i was afraid to take this sky dive so one of my cousin took this ride and i handed my camera to him. There is an annual jeep rally which takes place in this desert now. I was amused on this piece of information that once it was a river which transformed into a desert and even the rallies take place in there. Well, heading to our next spot, it was the skardu. Skardu has one main and important point to visit which is a tourist main attraction named as kachura lake. This lake is divided into two parts, the lower kachura lake and the upper one. First discussing the lower kachura lake there we stayed at shangrila resort which is quite famous over there. Lower part of the kachura lake is beautiful enough to make you people enchanted but then behold your hearts before going upwards. This is the gorgeous views from inside the shangrila resort. The good thing was that as we were staying inside the resort we were provided with a free ride in the lake otherwise it was having a expensive ticket. I enjoyed the whole flight and asked for the second one but they asked for the ticket so i said the first one was enough. Lol So, now we are moving towards the upper area of kachura lake. The whole scenario of the crystal clear water from inside the forest like area was so beautiful. I clicked so many shots out of which this one was the best one. How much you guys rate this view out of 10? My elder cousin said that we should return now as our budget was going to end but i was so obsessed with these areas that i myself called the father and asked for more money. As i am the youngest one in my family that's why he loves me so much, he sent the money and we continued our pre planned trip. Our next stop was naltar valley where we just had a stay in restaurant to spend our night. We were really tired of the whole day. The next day we started the journey towards the great mountains of rakaposhi and some other mountains also. The mountains of rakaposhi and the eagles nest (name of a mountain) it is named so because it will make you look to the whole nagar valley where these mountains exist like you have an eagle's eye. That's why people named them eagle's nest. You can tell me after looking at the images that how true it is about the eagle's nest. Does it give you a vibe of being having an eagle's eye? Well, there comes the look of rakaposhi mountains too but i waited for the night to come over so that i can capture a good shot of the rakaposhi mountains. The rakaposhi mountains are one of the highest mountains in the world. It is also known as the killer mountain as there is a death rate of 80% if 100 people decide to climb it. I wanted to observe it closely but that same cousin was the reason and started shouting this time that we should return now. So we summed up our tour there. It was so much fun and will always be in my mind and now on my hive diary. Thanks to @pinmapple for all the support till now and yes, it was a great journey on hive with you. I mostly keep the open candies in my pocket with different flavours and eat them whenever i want. But sometimes i mess up my pockets with different things and that's why my the cabdies no more remains clean. Yesterday i was scrolling the Facebook and saw a DIY where someone uses their water bottles to make a big jar for their stuff which clicked an idea in my mind that i can also make a mini jar like that for my candies so that they don't get dirty anymore in my pockets. So here comes the Mr @ahmedhayat with his instruments to create a mini jar. Ingredients A knife A uhu (or any good glue) Two water bottles (cut the caps) Two good hands like i have (kidding) First of all i took the bottles and started cutting the cap area of both of the bottles. The person in that video uses the mid area of the bottles to make some large cup like thing but i used the upper area only. Because i needed a mini jar only for my candies. Hmmm, seems easy. Right? Nah, it was the hell of a difficult task. I had to move the knife over each cap like for an hour to cut each one of that. Still it was having some rough area which i cleaned by heating the knife a bit which made it easy to clean the area. Now the process remaining was simple but needed a lot of care... I took out the UHU and put them on the both of those caps which you can see in the video above. Then i held them together for like half an hour. After that it stick stronger together... Here is my mini candy jar which will have a place in my pocket from now onwards. And i don't have to worry for any stuff i put in my pocket because the candies are safe in the jar. I think i have to make one more because it can hold 6,7 candies at a time. So who want to make one like that? It is simple but can take some time but is worth it. The gaming photography community has announced the new contest for this week and this time it is about showing some rides from the games you play. I liked the theme and decided to take part in it. If you people are also interested and want to take the more and detailed information is here Let's rock and roll I was playing the russian UAV driver previously but it never had the enough vehicles or some which i can show here in detail. So i decided to go for some other game and i found this one (The Gangster Vegas). It is an old game but still has some really cool graphics. While i was wandering around i found these three cars standing in a specific order and before going to steal one of them i decided to capture them first. So what are your thoughts on which i one decided to steal? Furthermore while i was driving on the road i saw this blue one and it took my heart. I started chasing it and somehow succeeded in snatching the blue fairy. But as it is said that a person demands more when he gets what he desired. Upon getting the blue one, i saw a bus. So the bus was my next target and the love of this blue one was vanished. I did some crashes with the bus but in the end i got to know that i can't drive a bus without a driving license. Wth. Well, enough with the cars and buses. Now let's move to some other mode of transportation. This time i picked up a motorbike for the ride. On the motorbike i headed towards the seashore where i could find some kind of motorboat for my mode of transportation.. Ah, finally there. Thank god i found some motorboats there, so it was time to have fun in the water but on my motorboat. Done with the water rides too? Now what is left 🤔. Oh yeah, the air rides... I mean the airplanes or helicopters and as you all know one can only find these at the airport. So i picked up a Lamborghini to reach the airport. Ever rode a Lamborghini? Well, i did today and the proof is in front of your eyes. I used it to reach the airport. First i was in a plane and after that i found a helicopter on the same airport. During this time, I received a call from @inshalicious saying, "Hey, the weather is nice, let's go for a walk." Because in the summers, it is hard to find a day with pleasant weather. So no one among us was going to avoid this chance. Taha and I headed in that direction. When we reached there, we sat there for a while when suddenly Inshal made a commotion that she wanted to ride a bicycle too, so we arranged a bicycle for her and handed it over to her. Later, it turned out that some girls were cycling there, which caught her interest. She was never gonna like this bicycle because it was on a low gear. Anyway, we took turns, and Inshal's turn came first (without a turn). After that, finally, I got the chance to ride the bicycle. I asked Taha to capture me because I sometimes ride a bicycle. Actually, these days, motorbikes have replaced bicycles, so we rarely come across people who ride bicycles. However, people should understand that cycling not only takes you from one place to another for free but also keeps you fit. Well, whom should I explain these things to, friends? I rode the bicycle only a little because this bicycle was set to low gear and couldn't switch to higher gear due to some technical issues. So, after pedaling a lot, there was a slight increase in its speed. And this thing was quite disturbing for someone like me who occasionally rides a bicycle. What's your say on this? After entering through the gate of my department, I went inside and then came back to ride the bicycle on the university road. If you notice, you will see in the video that this bicycle indeed required a lot of pedaling. Well, that's a sum up of my cycling journey 🙂. I was a bathroom singer all my life despite hearing from some that you have a good voice. This song is really difficult in terms of catching and maintaining the voice like higher and lower tone but still I tried my best to do whatever was possible.
