झूठ,अगर झूठ हैं ये दुनियां,तो फ़िर क्या हैं सच,तेरा प्यार,तू खुद बता,तू तो थीं मेरी दुनिया,लेकिन तुमने देखी दुनियां,और बन गई जैसी थीं दुनिया,फ़िर भी थीं मेरी तू दुनियां,तूने कहा था ना,थोड़ा और इंतज़ार और कर रहा हूं मैं इंतज़ार,लेकिन तू न आई,और जब आईं तब तक किसी और दुनियां में बसा दिया था खुदा ने,फिर भी मैं तेरा था उस दुनिया में,चलो माना झूठी थीं मेरी दुनिया,तूने बताया तो नहीं था न,सच्ची थीं क्या तेरी दुनिया,तू बनाती तो मुझे दुनिया अपना या फिर सिर्फ अपना बता फिर क्या झूठा थामैं मेरा प्यार या फिर मेरी दुनिया!!

उसे मुझसे मोहब्बत नहीं है।
अब वो छोड़कर जा चुकी हो, मुझे छोड़ो, वो जो मुझे अपना मानते हैं, उन्हें उदास कि हो। मेरी ज़िंदगी रुक सी गई है, जो भी है, जैसा है, सब अच्छा है, मुझे अब मेरा नहीं, अपनों की परवाह है। माँ मुझे देखती है, मेरे चेहरे पर मुस्कान, और उसके पीछे का दर्द समझती है। बहन परेशान है, वो जो चाहती थी, कि तुम दूर न जाओ। मेरे दोस्तों से कहती है, "इसे समझाओ, इसका वो बचपना वापस लाओ।" दोस्त भी अब कम बचे हैं, सब तो इसी जंजाल में फंसे हैं। कुछ को तो मैंने ही अपनी मोहब्बत में दूर किया है। माँ वो दिन याद दिलाती है, जब मैं हँसता था खुलकर, चलता था मचलकर। माँ को पता है ज़िंदगी चार दिन की है, उन्हें डर है, कि मुझे ऐसा न लगे मैंने ज़िंदगी जी ली है। उसके जाने के बाद मैंने अपना ये हाल किया है। माँ को कैसे बताऊँ, यकीन दिलाऊँ, कि सँभल जाऊँगा मैं। उससे ज़्यादा माँ से प्यार है। सब तो यूँ चलता रहेगा, वो तो सिर्फ दिल में बसी है, माँ जो मेरे दिल, जान, हर रूह में बसी है। अब दिन बीत रहे हैं, फिर भी वो याद आ रही है। शायद कुछ बचा है, या फिर ये मोहब्बत ऐसा ही होता है। मेरे साथ ये तो पहली और आखिरी दफ़ा है। अब मुझमें हिम्मत नहीं है, जब से कहा है उसने, "मुझसे मोहब्बत नहीं है।"

इश्क, तक़दीर और फ़साने
नहीं मिलना है मुझे तुमसे, न गले लगना है। पढ़ा है इतिहास मैंने, सही था या गलत, न समझ पाना है। देखी हैं मैंने चलचित्रें, "रांझणा" और "सनम तेरी कसम"। जहां गले लगने के बाद, खत्म होती है एक कहानी हरदम। कभी जोया कुंदन को मिटा देती है, तो कभी बीमारी सरू को चुरा लेती है। मुझे बर्बाद होने का डर नहीं, न ही मौत का कोई खौफ सही। पर डर है इस सोच से कहीं, मेरी बर्बादी, मेरी मौत का कारण बन जाए। तुझसे मिलना, तुझसे गले लगना, कहीं मेरे अंत की वजह न कहलाए।
