    That’s All

On 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I am happy to say I’ve been cancer free since 2020.  I think is important to share these stories, I had so much support from loved ones and also from survivors, some of them I barely knew, yet they showed up for me. Let’s share our stories and support one another. I dedicate this episode to all that have gone through cancer or know someone that has. Together we are stronger!                    Written-Narrated-Edited by Isabel Bacigalupo *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show.

New York City Here We Come!

The time has come when my daughter will leave home to go to college. Her dream city awaits! Just like I left my hometown after high school way back. I’m excited for her but mixed emotions accompany me daily. It’s part of the transition, those mixed emotions are normal but the happiness of seeing your kids follow their dreams has no price. I dedicate this episode to my daughter Oriana. Go out there and conquer the world! Written-Narrated-Edited by Isabel Bacigalupo *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show.

    Why Can’t I Be You?

In this episode I will share a story about dating after a breakup. Most of us get out there thinking we are healed and ready to try finding that special someone and most of the times we are not. Healing after a breakup takes time but sometimes getting out there is what we need in order to move  on. Written-Narrated-Edited by Isabel Bacigalupo *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show. *Thank you Free Stock Sound on YouTube for the Pouring Wine Sound Effect. *Thank you epicantus on Pixabay for the picture.

The Witch, the Baby, a Queen and a Militia of Termites

In this episode we will explore the subject of creativity.  I have always been very creative and even though I would receive compliments on it, as a child I was hardly guided to explore and work to develop my talents. As a result, I constantly thought I was simply not good enough. It has been a life struggle to overcome that feeling. It’s still hard, the difference is that now, I carry my creativity everywhere, it is my shield and armor. I finally learned to not be afraid to put it out there, because it is the only thing that truly reflects who I am, what makes me unique.   Written-Narrated-Edited by Isabel Bacigalupo *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show.

Let’s talk about episode 3 with guest Maria Elena Sanchez

On today’s episode, I would like to  share a  candid conversation with a dear friend of mine of many years. We will discuss the latest episode, Destiny in Cursive Letters. I’m curious to know other women’s take on romance and how they think society has influenced their minds with messages since childhood of what to expect from a relationship. The ring, getting married, the white dress, the house with the white picket fence, all leading to the happy ending. Join us for this conversation.Writer, Editor, Host: Isabel Bacigalupo Guest: Maria Elena Sanchez *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show.

    Destiny in Cursive Letters

As women we have been programmed to want certain things from romance. The love story, the proposal, the ring, getting married and living happily ever after. I still think it’s beautiful to strive for romance, so I’m not suggesting to become cynical about it, but more like shifting that focus of romance to yourself. It’s they key of true love, when you love and respect yourself first, and you learn to love to be alone, only then the right person that fits those new expectations will appear. It seems simple but it took me years to understand that no relationship defines you no matter how long. You define yourself, let’s start with us first.Written-Narrated-Edited by Isabel Bacigalupo *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show.

    The Doctor is In

Today’s episode is a reflection of people who help others overcome difficult chapters in life that at the time might seem unachievable or overwhelming. This could be a friend therapist or family member. Always trust somebody will show up for you when you most need it. Written-Narrated-Edited by Isabel Bacigalupo *Thank you Giacomo for “Lovers Rock” the intro theme music for the show.
