amorphia — is a russian rock band from Moscow (2007 — 2017).The original sound of the band can be described as reconsideration and development of the popular trends and musical conceptions of rock music in the 20th century. In general, our lyrics are allegoric and symbolic. The attempts to step beyond the borders of understanding of surrounding us reality, it is a desire to find a hope, accept yourself and struggle with hypocrisy, moralism and injustice.The band was originally formed in October 2007 and named «Anamorphia» as a reference to the Salvador Dali’s painting «Anthropomorphic Bread» (1934). But after several sessions, demo records, multiple lineup changes and a constant conflict «Anamorphia» broke up in 2011. Four years later, under a new name the band eventually reunited for a record their first original EP «Thrive».We always equaled to the highest standards of the American, English and European rock scene.
