Book of Jude
Ordinarily people take heresy lightly. If it's not causing deaths and other major catastrophies in the nation, the church somehow terrorates it. That was not so with the disciples of Jesus, they understood the seriousness of a wrong teaching, in fact for them, the main threat to the gospel movement was not percecution, lack or physical stretches of any nature, it was false teachers. False teaching is a major weapon of the enemy even today, and we ought to counter with teaching the church to know their faith and to defend it against the false teacher

Book of Philemon
This message come to my heart in a season when I was low in Spirit, almost loosing direction in the ministry. I had lost my usual ministry platform and couldn't figure out a way to continue, I kept delay by a need to wait for the ideal situation for me to get back preaching, although I know without a debt that my calling is in teaching the word of God.One night, the Spirit of God reminded me of all the work Apostle Paul accomplished inside prison gates. What if he waited for the time, he would be released from the chains so he can now begin preaching? A voice said, if I don't have a physical platform, God has provided a global platform through technology. When Paul could not reach the church or individuals he wanted to talk to face to face, he wrote letters to them. There and then the message of Philemon fell into my heart strongly. One as a reminder that the mission cannot be chained but also as a reminder of forgiveness. To walk with God, carry his annonting and favor, we have to work in forgiveness. The main reason we forgive is because in Christ God forgave us all our sin.
