I am your host, Mel, and today we are going to be discussing the emotional checklist you need when you are deciding you might want to move to a new city. As someone who has moved 7 times in the past 5 years to 3 different states, I have picked up a thing or two about moving. Today’s episode will be all about what I have learned during these many moves as well as what I wish I had done differently. Questions to ask yourself: Am I ready to spend time alone? What is my attachment style? Do I feel comfortable when I am by myself? Do I like assimilating new new ways of life? Can I create a routine that is flexible and practical? Do I have the financial capacity/emotional capacity to handle big purchases or unplanned occurrences?
