Okay ladies, it’s time to have a serious discussion. Yes, the dating pool is terrible and yes, there are a few bad apples in the bunch,  but have you ever stopped to consider that you also play a role in why you’re still single? Unfortunately, there isn’t a perfect guide for dating in your 20s to ensure you find “the one” but there are many tools available to guide you on doing the inner work so that you are prepared when they show up! One of those tools being Jay Shetty’s self-help book, ‘8 Rules of Love: How to Find It, Keep It, and Let it Go.’ In this episode, Calyx and Oshae unpack Shetty’s tips and dive into the beauty and importance of solitude.  Actively making the time to do things alone can provide a new perspective on your singleness and allow you to better know yourself. Just like your aunties at every family gathering, Oshae and Calyx are offering their unsolicited opinions on topics most relevant to the girls, as they introduce their new "Ain't Nobody Asked Us" bonus episodes. The two besties get into Meg's latest diss track "Hiss", discuss how the industry responded, and provides their theories on why it has seemingly been hard for Megan to earn the respect she deserves in hip-hop. 

It might be a new year but the girls are still broke! All young adults know the struggle of trying to make ends meet while still living your best life and Calyx and Oshae are no different. The good news is that although saving your funds can sometimes feel impossible, changing small spending habits can go a long way. As early twenty-somethings visiting home this season, Oshae and Calyx discuss how this stereotypically “joyous” time can actually prove to be more difficult than some might think. Between navigating new normals with your parents as a new-found adult, demystifying the eldest daughter trope, managing seasonal depression, and missing the peace and tranquility of your own apartment, the two talk about it all.
